Summary
This article discusses how to set up a temporary alert on the store-level that displays on an individual Store Page for 24 hours. It is often used to denote special events, sales, grand openings, or temporary store closings. Please note: This feature may not be enabled for all company templates.
Setting Up a Store Alert
In Brickwork, stores may post temporary alerts to direct customers to a message specific to the store they are viewing. This alert could be used to display a temporary closure due to weather or unexpected maintenance, the notification of a sale or Grand Opening, or any other special event that lasts for 24 hours or less.
To create a temporary alert, navigate to the store you want to manage by going to the "Locations" menu and searching for the store where you would like to add an alert. Select that store. Then select "Store Alerts".
You'll see an area to enter an alert, as seen below:
Enter the text you would like to display for your store and save your alert by clicking on "Add Alert".
Within 30-60 minutes, your alert will display and be visible for that store for 24 hours, at which time the alert will disappear from the page.
