Issue
On the Store Locator page or an individual Store Page, the map pin for a store's location is not displaying accurately or is in the wrong place.
Solution
When inputting new store data, Brickwork searches for the closest match to the Address + Store Name entered and automatically geolocates it, placing the map pins accordingly. If that pin is displaying incorrectly (wrong side of the street, etc.), you have the ability to override the default Geolocation and input the Latitude and Longitude of the store manually.
To do this, first go to the store by selecting its name in the Locations/Stores list. From here, go to Store Name > Store Info or Stores > General Info.
There will be a section on the right. Select "Override Geocode" and input the new Latitude and Longitude. Be sure to select "Update" when done:
If you want to do this upon creating a new store, you can also input the data from the Create Store Draft page. Scroll down until you get to "Override Geocode". Select this, and input the Latitude and Longitude.
If you don't know how to find these numbers, please refer to "Google Maps: What is Geocoding?". You can also use websites such as latlong.net.
