Summary
As an admin, create a new appointment in a store from the admin page directly. This function is particularly useful for logging appointments that did not come through the customer-facing side of the website - perhaps due to walk-in appointments that were not scheduled in advance.
Begin by selecting the store you wish to create an appointment in, and navigating to Appointments > Manage Appointments.
To create a new appointment, click the "New Appointment" button on the right side of the screen, which will bring up the "Create Appointment" modal window.
Once here, select the type of appointment you are creating. This list will only display the appointment types available at this store. In this case, "Personal Styling" is available.
Once checked, the form with auto-populate with the questions that have been set on the global level that pertain to this appointment type. It will also auto-select the next available time, which can easily be changed if needed. Only available time slots will show. Fill out all the information required for this appointment type (phone number is optional):
- Select whether the customer has requested to opt into further marketing emails or not. When checked, they have opted in.
- Select whether the customer requested to come in earlier and needs to be put on a waitlist by choosing "Opt into waitlist?".
- If there were any custom appointment questions, they will appear below these two options under "Appointment Questions".
Select "Create Appointment" and you are all set! You will receive a confirmation window and the appointment you created will appear in the calendar view.
