Add a new Store Feature Type. Features can include things such as: shoes, petites, swimwear, sunglasses, restaurant, salon, etc., and retailers use these features to give a customer the ability to filter on stores that have each feature from the Store Locator (if applicable).
Add a Store Feature
To add a new Store Feature, you must first create that feature at the Global level and then apply it to one or more stores.
Begin by logging into the Brickwork admin and navigating the the “Settings” section, then selecting "Global Content".
Scroll down until you get to the section called "Features":
- Once here, fill out all fields:
- Pick an image (if your template accepts images for features)
- Name the new feature
- Add a description
- Select "highlight this feature" to have it appear on public searches
- Finally, select "Add" to create the new Feature.
Add a New Feature to a Store
Once the Store Feature is added at the Global level, you may add it to individual stores.
To begin, go to "Locations" in the sidebar, select the store you want to add a Feature to in the drop-down menu, and select "Store Info".
From here, scroll down to "Features".
Click into the box or start typing to see a dropdown list of available features to add. Make sure to hit "Update" to save.
