If appointment types have not been set to auto-confirm and are booked directly by a customer (rather than through the admin platform), they will need to be confirmed individually before any other action can take place. After completing this how-to you will have all the information you need in order to confirm, assign, reschedule, or decline appointments for an individual store on your Brickwork site.
To begin, navigate to the store where you want to manage appointments. Then, select Appointments > Manage Appointments from the top bar:
Unless the appointment type was previously set to "Auto Confirm Appointments", or the appointment was created by a Store Manager or Corporate Admin through the Brickwork Admin pages, any unconfirmed appointments will be highlighted in red and can be seen in the calendar view. They will also appear in the "Unconfirmed" to-do list on the right:
To confirm this appointment, either click the appointment on the to-do list, or click on the appointment from the calendar view. Once here, you have the ability to confirm the appointment by selecting the blue "Confirm" button.
Selecting "More Actions" will also give you the ability to assign the appointment to an associate, decline the appointment, or reschedule the appointment.
Decline an Appointment
To decline an appointment, under "More Actions", select "Decline". You will be asked if you are sure. Hit "OK". The appointment will be declined and the customer will be notified.
Reschedule an Appointment
To reschedule a requested appointment for a different date or time, under "More Actions", select "Reschedule". You will be prompted to input a new date and time. When selected, press "Update Appointment".
